CLICKED: Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar On The Sets Of Koffee With Karan
Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share a picture of her along with SRK and Karan on the sets of the popular chat show. It remains to be seen if the first episode proves to be dhamaka!
Alia Bhatt’s happiness knew no bounds as she shot the first episode of
her mentor, Karan Johar’s show, Koffee With Karan last night at Yash Raj
Studios. What made the night even more memorable for the actress was the fact
she shared the couch with Shah Rukh Khan, her co-star from Dear Zindagi (Alia Returns To India For Mom Soni Razdan And Shah Rukh Khan, Oct 26).
How could she not capture the moment? Alia took to Instagram to post a
picture of the trio and captioned it, “Koffee love with my favourite
people. What a Zindagi :) @iamsrk@karanjohar (sic).”
Alia is currently shooting for Badrinath Ki Dulhania that stars Varun
Dhawan opposite her. The film revolves around Badrinath, a boy from
Jhansi, his ‘dulhania’ (bride) and the issues they go through, Interestingly,
the film is produced by Dharma productions and will release in March next year.
As for Dear Zindagi, the actress stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the
film. The two are working on the film for the first time and we are sure the
audience is looking forward to see their chemistry. While Alia essays the role
of a DOP in the project, SRK plays her life coach. Dear Zindagi’s teasers have
been well-received by critics and audiences alike and have managed to arouse
curiosity amongst the audiences.
Coming back to Koffee With Karan, the first guest on the show was
initially supposed to be Fawad Khan, but keeping the current political
climate in mind, he chucked that thought and replaced Fawad with his all time
favourite Shah Rukh Khan and his beloved student of the year Alia Bhatt.
It remains to be seen if the first episode proves to be dhamaka!
